Zero to Hero Day 19: Publish in a New-to-you Format

Today’s assignment: publish a post using a format you’ve never used before.

My usual format consists of at least one picture (around 5 for anime reviews) and mostly text. Since Day 18 of Zero to Hero requests a new format, I thought I’ll try out a gallery. I wasn’t sure what to include in the gallery, so I added my favourite screenshots from some of the anime I’ve reviewed. Most of them are from Noragami because it’s my favourite on-going anime at the moment.

Which reminds me, I haven’t watched Nisekoi episode 2 yet!

  1. I am new to blogging, having only created my page a couple of days ago, and I wanted to know if this Zero to Hero program has helped with your viewership. Either way, keep it up and good luck!

    • Thanks and welcome to the world of blogging! Zero to Hero has helped with my viewership. It’ll be good for you to give it a try since you’re new to blogging. 🙂

      • I am concerned if I tried to follow some kind of recipe so early on I would not be able to create my own way. I will definitely give it a try once I feel more confident.

I will continue to follow your progress. How many days is it exactly?

      • I get what you mean. Actually, it’s not compulsory to post every time you complete a task for Zero to Hero. Not all tasks require publishing. Some are just about changing the appearance of your blog.

    • I must say that I’ve never followed any kind of program which WordPress has actually set, such as zero to hero. I’ve been blogging for a while (over two years) and have at least wrote 1 post per day on my blog. I think the key to any blog and website is being consistent and updating your blog daily or weekly with new awesome posts. Also having a simple structure of what your blog will be like is something to definitely look into. Don’t expand into different things early. Concentrate on what you do best, once that’s been perfected expand and improve.

      • Thank you very much for your advice. Since I have more time this month, I thought I’ll try the Zero to Hero challenge. After that, I will only post about anime reviews. I will keep what you told me in mind.

  2. One format I just can’t live without and use it all the time on my blog is the tiled mosaic, it’s such a beautiful way of compiling you’re images no matter the side, they just look fantastic!
