Today’s assignment: follow five new topics in the Reader, and begin finding blogs (and bloggers) you love.
My English teacher has taught my class countless times that a good essay requires depth. To achieve depth, we need to read widely. I know that just reading and writing anime reviews isn’t going to help me achieve that, so this assignment came in handy.
For the first part of this assignment, I am supposed to follow five new topics in my Reader.
As suggested by The Daily Post, I am following “zerotohero” so that I can read about what other participants are blogging about. I’m really happy that I’ve gained more likes and followers after posting about the Zero to Hero challenge so I felt that if I have to follow a few blogs for this assignment, I should start looking for them from those who responded to my posts.
Dreams can refer to the ones we get when we’re sleeping or the aspirations we have for our lives. Everyone has different dreams. It’s nice to know what dreams other bloggers have.
I’ve always loved poetry. I have a book called Collected Poems by Allan Ahlberg which I really like. Though I haven’t been writing my own poetry recently, I followed this topic so that I could read poems written by other WordPress bloggers.
Change is something that happens to all of us, whether or not we want it. Change brings things we must accept into our lives. There are also bad habits we need to change. I think that this is a very interesting topic and can be depicted in different ways.
I nearly forgot about this one. Silly me. It’s difficult and pretty much impossible to have life the way we all want it. To get rid of stress and worries, adding a bit of comedy to our lives would be good. That’s actually the reason why I usually watch funny anime instead of sad tearjerkers.
While following these five topics and writing this post, I have also followed a few blogs. I’m done with exploring the neighbourhood for today. Will you be my neighbour?
